Institute for Fostering Leadership to Create Future Value through Outstanding Research, Innovation and Sustainable Higher Education JIRITSU (Independent) Fellowship Program

Purpose

The purpose of this system is to support the promotion of independence among young talent by providing them with opportunities to independently tackle research topics based on their own ideas, thereby enabling them to acquire cutting-edge research skills through strengthening their research abilities, and then, through education in areas such as business development and social implementation, to contribute to society in a wide range of fields.

About the students eligible for the JIRITSU-FL Fellowship Program in FY2021

Thirteen people applied for the JIRITSU-FL Fellowship for FY2021.

The committee will evaluate the submitted application form including reasons for recommendation, research objectives and content, annual plan, and research achievements, and assign a score to the application.

(1) Have the specialized qualifications and excellent research ability necessary for research activities.
(2) Applicants must have excellent academic and research achievements, a broad perspective on business development and social implementation, and be expected to contribute to society through cutting-edge research capabilities.

As a result of the selection process based on the above two criteria, six students were selected to receive the grant.
